Thomas Eric Duncan traveled to the U.S. after direct contact with a woman who had Ebola in his native country of Liberia. Duncan lied during his health screening to board the plane. He was the first person to die from the virus in America. American nurses who cared for Duncan in Dallas have now tested positive for the disease. Up to 1000 people across the U.S. are being monitored for the virus. Now there is concern from members of Congress that unrestricted travel of undocumented immigrants crossing the Mexican border could cause the virus to spread even though there are no known cases of Ebola in Mexico.

	Yes, the border with Mexico is porous and sick immigrants can sneak into the country without any contact with law enforcement or border patrol. No, there are no cases of Ebola in Mexico. It is an opportunity for Republicans in Congress to push an immigration agenda. I don't know.

2)	Do you think Obama and the CDC have botched the U.S. response to Ebola?
	Yes, the Obama Administration and the CDC have been ill-equipped to handle the virus now that it has reached the U.S. No, this is an evolving situation and they are responding as best they can in such a large country with so many hospitals, healthcare workers, travelers and points of entry. I don't know.

3)	Are you afraid Ebola will become a global pandemic?
	Yes, it is only a matter of time before the disease spreads worldwide. No, now that Ebola is in America more resources will be allocated to finding a vaccine and stopping its spread. I don't know.

4)	Are you concerned that terrorists could use the Ebola virus as a weapon against Americans?
	Yes, it’s highly possible that a terrorist organization like ISIS could use Ebola as a terrorist weapon to infect an enemy country. No, it’s not likely that a terrorist organization would risk infection with Ebola to use it as a weapon. I don't know.
