Gay Marriage vs. Religious Rights:
Should an Elected Official Be Able to Refuse to Issue a Marriage License Based on Religious Belief?

Kim Davis, clerk of Rowan County, Kentucky, refused to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples because it violated her religious beliefs. Davis was eventually jailed for five days and has since removed her name from the licenses issued by her office which brings into question their validity. Davis refuses to quit her job and feels that her religious rights supersede the duties of her job.

PersonalLiberty.com, America's #1 news site for independent-minded individuals, is conducting an urgent poll to see if you believe that elected officials' religious beliefs should exempt them from fulfilling aspects of their duty with which they don’t agree.

The results of the poll will be available to you after you submit your vote, and we'll also share the poll results with major media outlets across the country. Thousands will vote, so take a moment right now to stand up and be counted. Your opinion matters!
