Efforts to pass a comprehensive immigration bill continue even as some in the Senate, like Ted Cruz of Texas, oppose any provision that would allow an immigrant who entered the U.S. illegally to become a citizen. And House Speaker John Boehner says the House won't entertain the Senate's Gang of Eight compromise or enter into a joint conference on immigration reform.

1)	Should immigrants in the U.S. illegally be offered amnesty by way of receiving permanent residency?
	Yes. Those that entered the country illegally are here to stay; we should offer them a way to stay here legally. No. They broke the law when they entered our country, they should be deported. Not Sure.

2)	Should immigrants that originally entered the U.S. illegally “ever” be offered citizenship?
	Yes. This will encourage those that entered the country illegally to come out of the shadows and be law abiding members of society. No. They broke the law when they entered the country illegally, they should not be rewarded with citizenship. Not Sure.

3)	If illegal immigrants become citizens should they be able to participate in government entitlements such as Medicare and Social Security?
	Yes. Once they are a U.S. citizen participation is a right. No. These programs should be kept for American born citizens only. Not Sure.

4)	What do you think the impact will be on the U.S. economy if immigrants here illegally are given citizenship?
	Positive. They will be legally employed and pay taxes benefiting the whole system. Negative. They will take more out in benefits than they will pay in taxes. Not Sure.

5)	Do you think more government money and resources should be spent to secure our border with Mexico?
	Yes. Securing our borders should be a high priority and resources should be allocated accordingly. No. It’s a losing proposition as no amount of money will keep all illegal immigrants from entering the country. Not Sure.
